My Favourite High Street Hair Brand

Hey all. Happy Mid-Week!!
As a hairdresser, a major part of my job is giving recommendations to clients about the best products for their hair. It would be so easy for me to tell them, "You need the Wella Velvet Amplifier Style Primer" or the "L'Oreal Professionnel Absolut Repair Masque" (Both of which I highly reccomend!!). But this is often met with a strange look that says, "I don't know what you're talking about!" So I love try out high street hair care products, because that is what my clients want me to recommend to them. Not the salon professional brands that cost an arm and a leg and are difficult to get a hold of. These products are alot cheaper and easier for people to buy.
The one brand that I always seem to be talking about is TRESemme. From their shampoo to their hairspray, TRESemme plays a major role in my own haircare routine. My favourite, 'can not live without' hair products are the 24 Hour Body Blow Dry Lotion, and the Freeze Hold Hairspray. I have super fine hair (the main reason I keep it SO short), and it can be a nightmare to put volume into. The 24 Hour Body Blow Dry Lotion is definitely great for putting some life into my hair, and I recommend this to EVERYONE that struggles to get lift at the roots. Blast your roots dry with your head upside down and you will end up with 'Oomph' hair.

These hairsprays! I honestly haven't used a different brand on my own hair in YEARS!! Literally!! TRESemme aren't lying... the freeze hold FREEZES your hair!! I get that some people may find this a bit sticky or heavy for their hair, but for short hair I would highly suggest it. Short hair doesn't carry off the windswept look quite as well as long hair, so I need mine to stay in place with those crazy winds Ireland seems to love getting. This is a miracle worker. I also find it great for spraying to the roots after backcombing, as an alternative to the texture/ hold powders. If I ever run out of the Freeze Hold Hairspray, (which is ALWAYS) I keep a tin of the Extra Hold around as my backup. This hairspray also has amazing hold but is noticeably less sticky. Perfect for an upstyle on longer hair.  

 I recently started using the TRESemme Renewal Hair & Scalp Tonic. After the first use, I definitely noticed my hair was super shiny, and it is quite refreshing on the scalp. I have never had much problems with my scalp though and my hair is in pretty good condition as it so short, so I might give this a go on problem hair, and report back then.
